Preview Screening March 24th

The Ajax Bomb Girls Legacy Campaign Committee welcomed Janis Lundman, Executive Producer, Jodi Balfour who plays Gladys Whitman and Carlyn Burchell, who plays Carol on the hit  Global BOMB GIRLS series at our the Preview Screening of the hit series which was held at St. Francis Centre Ajax on March 24th.  Audience members were able to ask questions of Janis Lundman, Jodi Balfour and Carol Burchell as well as  Louise Johnson, former employee of Defence Industries Limited and Honourary Patron of the Campaign.  Kimbell Colyer (nee Kimmy Miller) who worked at  Defence Industries also attended the event.  The Committee also was pleased that  Debi Drennan, Original Concept BOMB GIRLS AND Madge Trull, who worked at Bletchley Park,  during WW11.

Thank you to Magwyers Pub for a fabulous evening March 4th. Lovely tribute to Pat Clark. Great food, lots of fun and about $3000.00 raised for the Bomb Girls Legacy Campaign!

Feb. 26, 2013 – Officials at the Canadian War Museum, Ottawa welcomed Ajax Bomb Girl Committee members to discuss the history of Defence Industries Limited and the founding of the Town of Ajax.
